What do we mean by ‘healing’?

Healing is the giving and receiving of healing energy to comfort physical, emotional and spiritual needs. It is an important part of each church service and may take a number of forms. It may be a simple ‘laying-on’ of hands to channel the universal energy in the practice known as Reiki. Each healer chooses the form of healing with which they have experience and are comfortable.

We also practice absent healing, sending healing energy to absent friends and loved ones.

There is an absent healing book in which congregation members are welcome to write names each week. In addition, an absent healing circle is incorporated in the Church's meditation groups. This circle sends the Christ Light healing energy to particular individuals who have asked for intense absent healing. All are welcome to attend these weekly meditation groups.

We believe that ultimately all healing stems from Spirit and is channelled with light and  love.
